The Reason

My name is Glenn Jones.

In May of 2004, I graduated from college in the field of Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. In May of 2010, I graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary (Atlanta Campus) with a Master of Arts in Religion.

Currently, I am working on a proposal to begin my D.Th. in New Testament at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. I hope one day to enter into “full time” ministry of some kind, but for now this web site serves as my simple attempt to help fellow Christians (via the Internet) become better defenders of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

A term I would ask you to know is Apologetics. For Christians it is defined as a defense or justification of the truth of the Christian faith. The primary passage of scripture in which we find this exhortation is 1 Peter 3:15-17, which states:

But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.

More than any thing, we must know that it is better to suffer for Christ’s sake, than to feel more at ease doing evil. The Lord Jesus has promised that those who trust and obey Him will inherit a New Heavens and a New Earth one day and this is greater than anything we can ever imagine in this life. Therefore, we must do what is right in the eyes of God no matter what the consequences may be and we must rest in God’s Spirit, who provides us with all that we need!

For our full ministry statement of faith see: The Four Ecumenical Creeds

It is my prayer and hope that what I place on this site gives answers to those who seek them and strength for those who need it, to serve Christ and Christ alone.

May God bless and keep you as you do His Will!

A Servant of the King, Glenn

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life."
