There are certainly no positive feelings that come to my mind when I think about the government passing “hate crimes” legislation. So, to pass along my feeling, I want to share this video that I received from the AFA recently in an E-mail link.
Here is the information provided at the web site of the AFA:
The Senate will be voting, as early as today, on S.1105, the so-called “hate crimes” bill. Under S.1105, acts of crime committed against members of certain protected classes – including those who identify themselves by their “actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity” – would warrant more intense prosecution and greater penalties than the very same acts committed against heterosexuals.It would establish homosexuals as a special class of people and give them special rights.
It is no stretch to argue that S. 1105, if enacted, will embody a national policy that will likely lead to the criminalization and civil sanction of the biblical view of homosexuality.
Read these two stories – The tragic story of Jesse Dirkhising and Woman’s death at hands of ‘gay’ her fault, says lawyer – to see how homosexuals murdered heterosexuals but were not charged with a hate crime. Had the roles been reversed – the victims homosexual and the perpetrators heterosexual – they could have been charged. Under S.1105, homosexuals are a “protected class” while heterosexuals are not.
It is vitally important for you to call your two senators today and tell them to vote against S.1105, the “hate crimes” bill.
Here is a CD of songs for teaching your children the entire story of the Bible. Michael F. Bird highly recommends it for those who are weary of the same old songs that didn’t really paint the ENTIRE picture of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Here is what he had to say over at his blog:

This news is certainly not a good thing for the Church of England. I absolutely do not know what would happen if the US governments started implementing these types of things. I could only assume that faithful churches would end up going underground. But thankfully that time is not yet upon us and hopefully will not be upon us any time soon.
Pray that this many finds the judgment of God on his life so that he will repent and stop his deadly sinning.

I cannot agree more… no one else was more suitable or more honorable to appear before the Queen of England to perform their talent! I cannot imagine how powerful and amazing that moment would be. This is just awesome!
